InterviewerVolunteers work one on one with individuals to gather information from their lives to create a custom storybook all about the child's life. These volunteers must communicate clearly, write legibly, and build a positive relationship with those they work with. These situations are often filled with difficult and sensitive memories. Volunteers help put families at ease through this process.

PhotographerA vital piece of telling each child's story are beautiful photographs capturing the life, love, and laughter between a child and their family. With most of our locations space and environment are less than ideal but our gifted photographers capture moments of custom happiness that we weave throughout their story to create a beautiful heirloom for the child and their family.

QuilterAlong with their My Story Matters Storybook, each child also receives a custom made quilt. These quilts provide children with something to cuddle with. It's through our volunteers that we are able to provide these wonderful gifts. If you are available to donate lap sized quilts or the fabric to create them, My Story Matters would love your support.
